Love Letters is a charming, simple and moving play. Our actors read the letters written by Andy and Melissa over their life time. Beginning in childhood and continuing until late adult hood, the letters start as a reply to a party invitation, segue into notes at school and letters written while they are leading separate lives. Whether away at boarding schools and college, in the navy or starting a new life in another state, the letters reveal the depth of their love and devotion to each other.
Written by AR Gurney it is a popular play and was recently staged in late 2020 in London.
Importantly, we have only two actors on stage. We are able to stage everything well back from the edge of the stage and this will be a Covid safe event. The audience is limited to 40 people and seating will be spaced to comply with current restrictions.
